Drown Out the Hate Day

WHAT: Drown Out the Hate Day is an organized, city-wide water balloon fight, being hosted by Kritikal Entertainment in efforts to unite our community in wholesome, contagious fun. General Admission to the event is going to be $3.00 per person with the purchase of balloons and $5.00 per person without purchase of balloons.Active duty military discount will be $1.50/per entry. Wrist bands can be purchased prior to the event by contacting Kritikal Ent @ 931.278.3404. Legal waivers will be distributed and must be turned in to gain entrance to the event. The activities will be broken down into several categories. First, participants will be grouped by age: 5 and under, 6- 13, 14-17, 18 and above. Next, they will be separated by Teachers vs. Students, Parents vs. Children, etc. There will also be inflatable climbers and slides, guest speakers, food, and lots more fun.

WHO: The targeted demographic for this is event is everyone from age of three upward. Since this is a family oriented event there will be law enforcement on the premises. No drugs, alcohol, firearms, gang related paraphernalia, or obscene materials and/or behaviors will be permitted at this event.
WHEN: May 23, 2009 from 11a.m- 6:30 p.m

WHERE: Clarksville Fair Grounds

WHY: Kritikal entertainment is dedicated to the struggle of bringing the community together, erasing the lines of community segregation and stereotype, and lending a helping hand whenever an opportunity arises. Through the strength of unification we are able to stand up as Voice of the youth and say, " We are here, and taking the reins in reaching out to the community.” Our goal is to share in the vision of young people accomplishing dreams and creating positive change. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be dispersed between two charities. The first of the two: The LEAP (Liberated Estates Apartment Program) which is a program that has been established to provide housing to displaced and (or) single parent families. The second of the two charities, is St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s National Cancer Institute Comprehensive Cancer Center.
