It's truely a sad day for all of us, in some way or another MJ influenced all of our lives, I was born in the 80's , i grew up listening to him , i remember dancing around my house like a little spycho in a suit lsitening to MJ. He was the greatest talent that god gave us, and we should remember him for the thigns that he gave to us all.

Memory lane-What was your favorite Michael Jackson Song? How did it make you feel?

God this artist had such a major impact in my child hood years it's still hard to believe that he is gone. At the same token he was sad and this world was way to evil for somebody like him. Now he can rest in peace and be happy and no longer have to deal with the burdens of this world. I was listening to the old joints he put out like ABC, and Rock with you. Those were my joints oh my goodness. Every time I hear that and remember the time those were my joints. What was your favorite Michael Jackson song.

When I was younger I was clueless about this song all I knew was that he sound good singing it. As i got older I paid more attention to the words in the song and I was like damn this song is deep. " I need her sharing the world beside me, thats why I got to be there, be there where love begins and that's everywhere she goes, I got to be there so she knows that when she's with me, she's home." Thats some deep stuff right there.

Michael Jackson's body is set to be returned to Neverland for a public viewing, which will take place this Friday (July 3).A private funeral for the pop legend will take place on Sunday (July 5) with family members and numerous celebrity mourners who are said to be in attending.

The legendary singer’s body is currently traveling in a 30-car-motorcade to a secret location. The family, however, is still unsure of where to bury Jackson. When Jackson's father Joe Jackson was asked if the singer would be buried at Neverland, which Mr. Jackson stated that it was too early to talk about funeral plans, as the family was awaiting the results of a second autopsy.

However the mayor of Gary, Indiana, the town where Jackson grew up, has stated he hopes that the singer would be buried there. Mayor Rubin Clay said he believed "that his body will lie in state in Gary, Indiana. "Now, it may not happen, but I believe it will." Mayor Clay is planning a citywide memorial that he labeled "fit for the greatest entertainer that ever lived," to honor the singer on July 10th. The public viewing is set to draw tens of thousands of fans from around the world.

The keys to Michael Jackson's kingdom have just been ripped from his mother's hands.

Over the objections of Katherine Jackson, a Los Angeles probate judge today ruled that Michael Jackson's 2002 will is indeed valid and that, per the King of Pop's wishes, attorney John Branca and veteran music executive John McClain are executors of his estate.

Lawyers for Jackson's mother wanted Judge Mitchell Beckloff to delay the decision. One of her lawyers, John Schreiber, argued that "there is concern over handing over the keys to the kingdom so quickly."

Her attorneys also suggested that because McClain suffers from a disability, he is unfit to make decisions on Michael's estate, which is estimated to be worth more than $500 million.

But Beckloff refused, telling Schreiber "someone needs to be at the helm of the ship."

Katherine Jackson had been appointed temporary executor last week, when the family still believed the star had died without a will.

But then Branca surfaced with a five-page document written seven years ago, establishing him and McClain as executors, splitting the state among his mother, three children and charities, dissing ex-wife Debbie Rowe and giving Katherine custody of his kids.

The Rev. Al Sharpton, a close friend of the Jackson clan, appeared on Good Morning America today and lashed out at Beckloff for holding the hearing a day before the pop icon is to be laid to rest.

"I think it has been very insensitive, particularly to this family, that you would even schedule a court hearing on the status of the mother the day before she has to go to the cemetery for her son," Sharpton said. "I mean, it's almost insulting."

Beckloff said that he believed Branca and McClain would act in the best interest of the estate and be best equipped to sort through various complicated legal and financial problems, ranging from lingering IOUs and lawsuits to the fate of Jackson's biggest asset, his 50 percent stake in the Beatles' song catalog.

Well at least with a probate judge involved every single penny of Michael's money will have to be accounted for. So even tho the lawyers are the executors they still won't be able to spend the money with out documented and physical proof of where the money is going.
