We have truly lost and Icon in music! I can't image anyone doing it on his level or even close as a matter of fact. Michael set so many standards in the industry, it's amazing how the culture was transformed overnight. I was really waiting to see how he would school the next generation and resurrecting the pop culture again. I hope the family knows he'll be missed. R.I.P.
We just lost the GREATEST... There is only ONE KING... of Rock, Pop, and Soul R&B... and his name was Michael Joseph Jackson... R.I.P. Michael, you will be sorely missed, but NEVER forgotten!
Amen to that. It just does not feel right and there a lot of us that feel the same way you do. I was a big fan of mike. I had a chance to meet his sister Janet and his father Joe. I thought to myself our black family camelot. But man America did Mike wrong. When he was making them people money it was all good. But when Mike bought that beetles catalog and started telling the truth about the things that were going on they did a character assassination on him. I wish he would have never came back to the states.
We knew he was sick but he was very young and somebody at that hospital either didn't know what they were doing or they deliberately killed Mike.
According to the sun times the pic above is the monitor from the paramedics. They say he was not breathing when the call was made by one of his staff???
An Emergency Room source at UCLA hospital said Jackson aides told medics he had collapsed after an injection of potent Demerol — similar to morphine.
A Jacko source said: “Shortly after taking the Demerol he started to experience slow shallow breathing.
“His breathing gradually got slower and slower until it stopped.
“His staff started mouth-to-mouth and an ambulance was called which got there in eight minutes “Butfound he was in full respiratory arrest, no breathing and no pulse. They started full CPR and rushed him to hospital.
“When he arrived they started resuscitation, giving him heart shocks and inserted a breathing tube and other supportive measures to try and save his life.
“He never regained consciousness. The family was told that he had passed.”
Peep this, earlier today on 106 and park they announced that Michael Jackson's house caught on fire why isn't the news reporting this? Why would he need a high dose shot of demorol. Did they kill Michael Jackson? Critical think people time to look at the story inside of the story.
We are looking all over for the facts on the house fire, can you please post it please:))!
Either way Isis, if he took it, the powers that be would be at a loss financially for a less that good performance... I heard that the itunes went up from $.99 to $1.29 today- imagine if he had a bad concert? It would be better for the Evil Empire to kill him before he flopped-- that way he could be the legend , king of Pop..the propaganda machine is in full effect-( post Obama) prepare for Michael Jackson gift sets, t-shirts , the movie- OMG- who owns Michaels NAME??
As the world continues to try to grasp and make sense of the incredibly shocking death of Michael Jackson, several people close to the family and investigation are hinting that prescription drugs may have played a role in the King of Pop's demise.TMZ is reporting that a Jackson family members have confirmed that Michael received a shot of Demerol just before Noon on Thursday, and that the dosage was "too much." They say Jackson typically received a shot of Demerol daily.Police on Friday were seeking Jackson's home physician, Dr. Conrad Robert Murray, who was believed to be with Jackson at the time his health took a turn for the worst. TMZ is now reporting that Murray will speak to police.
Police towed a BMW believed to be Murray's from Jackson's rented home "because it may contain medications or other evidence that may assist the coroner in determining the cause of death," police spokeswoman Karen Rayner said. Britain's The Sun, citing sources at the UCLA hospital where Jackson was treated, is reporting that Jackson stopped breathing shortly after a shot of Demerol, a drug similar to morphine. "Shortly after taking the Demerol he started to experience slow shallow breathing. His breathing gradually got slower and slower until it stopped," the Sun source said.
"His staff started mouth-to-mouth and an ambulance was called which got there in eight minutes. But paramedics found he was in full respiratory arrest, no breathing and no pulse. They started full CPR and rushed him to hospital," the source continues.Brian Oxman, the Jackson Family spokesman and former lawyer for Michael, told CNN in an interview on Thursday night that "I can only tell you that this is something that was not unexpected." Oxman went on to say that "the medications which Michael was under, this family has been trying for months and months and months to take care of Michael Jackson."
Oxman went on to compare the Jackson situation to that of the late Anna Nicole Smith. "The people who have surrounded him have been enabling him. If you think the case of Anna Nicole Smith was an abuse, it's nothing in comparison to what we have seen taking place in Michael Jackson's life," Oxman told CNN.
Jackson's friend Liza Minelli seemed to hint at the same during a Friday morning interview on CBS' 'The Early Show,' during which she said: "When the autopsy comes, all hell's going to break loose, so thank God we're celebrating him now."
Jackson's friend Uri Geller says he thinks it was the pressure of Michael's upcoming 50+ concert tour that put added weight on the King of Pop. "He was in good shape ... I'm not a doctor, but I can only assume he was under immense stresses and pressures, and you can ask any doctor, stress is a killer. The pressure of these concerts, putting under huge pressures, he was a perfectionist. That could have been what did it. But that's just my opinion," Geller told UsMagazine.com. The official cause of Jackson's death won't be known until an autopsy has been completed. As of now, cardiac arrest is being blamed for his death.
The world lost an entertainment icon yesterday with the passing of Michael Joseph Jackson. The King of Pop died at a Los Angeles hospital after suffering cardiac arrest. Of course the sadness of the shocking death of the 50-year-old entertainer was felt throughout the hip-hop community where Jackson influenced many of the genre's top artist. MTV held a tribute show in Jackson's honor and several hip-hop stars called in to express their condolences and memories.
Fat Joe believes Jackson paved the way for many of today's artist.
"This is probably [among] the top three worst days of my life there wouldn't be no Usher, there wouldn't be no Chris Brown. There wouldn't be nobody without MJ. There wouldn't be no Justin."
Snoop Dog recalled meeting Jackson.
"I feel like his music will never die and his spirit will never die, because he influenced so many if us. He gave us a lot of hope that we feel like we can be big. He was very inspiring and up close and personal with his fans. That to me was special. That's one of the things that I loved about Mike. When I got a chance to meet him, that's the feeling and spirit that I got from him."
Lil Wayne offered:
"I personally can't believe it, but it's more unfortunate for the world of music. ... My love goes out to his family. ... A sad day in history, not [just] music."
Irv Gotti dubbed Jackson, "the biggest star of our generation".
"He made the best records, videos, everything. I'm saddened by the world's loss."
Wyclef Jean said the pop star was more than a music icon.
"Michael Jackson was my musical God. He made me believe that all things are possible, and through real and positive music. He can live forever!?
Russell Simmons added:
"Michael Jackson was my generation's most iconic cultural hero. Courageous, unique and incredibly talented. He'll be missed greatly."
Diddy Tweeted:
"Michael Jackson showed me that you can actually see the beat. He made the music come to life!! He made me believe in magic. I will miss him!"
This is still a shock to me. Michael Jackson will be missed and I hope in his passing we can begin to appreciate his greatness again. I'm pleased I witnessed his greatness.
