About Me:: My Testimony:

I started drinking at the age of 13, at 14 I added smoking marijuana, at the age of 15 I got pregnant and dropped out of school, at 16 I got pregnant again. So at the age of 17 I was drinking, smoking marijuana, and had two children a 10th grade education then started doing acid. At 18, I added smoking Love Boat "PCP" (that is marijuana soaked in inbominum fluid) to the mix. Then at 19 I added sniffing coke and smoking crack cocaine (which was the beginning of my 17yr. drug addiction with crack cocaine) and by the year 1991 I had five children by 1994 all five of my children had got taken by the state. I ended up prostituting and was in and out of the system continuously.I got abducted and raped, had my knee broken, and was in a car wreck, I had pneumonia twice and almost died the second time and I was shot at four
times.

Then on June 17,2002 in the midst of trying to feed my addiction, God intervened and by placing me in a deep slumber. When I finally awoke, God had delivered me completely with no desire to go back to that lifestyle. Because of God's grace and mercy, it has been my mission to go out into the same communities that I ran in and spread the Good News of what the Lord has done for me and how He can do the same for them.

Interests/Hobbies:: Meeting new people and helping those in need

Campus or Community Involvement: I bring to the children (as well as going into the drug neighborhoods) the outcome of poor choices and encourage the children to stay in school and get their education

Your testimony is very powerful. I have just joined the Women's Leadership Group with the United Way. I am part of the Leadership Committee. Our goal is to reach out the the youth in the community to keep them on track and in school. I think you would be a wonderful asset to the group. The next meeting is in November.
