About Me:

God-fearing, ambitous, caring, passionate, world traveler that eyes her destiny in Christ! I am the reigning 2009 Miss Black Kentucky USA and in 60 days will compete for the coveted Miss Black USA crown. My platform: Lights, Camera, YOuth in Action aims to develop youth through education, peer relationships, mentoring, civic and community service involvement to become the next generation of leaders. My travels have taken me around the world and through most U.S. states. I currently work and volunteer for the national HOSA, 4-H organizations, U.S. Public Service Academy and Africa Change International. I am the creator of the Reach Intiative, which partners Ghana youth with youth from the United States to develop action plans to conquer issues such as pollution, crime and poverty within their communities. I am a proud of member of God's Sanctuary Church were I have worked in the Teen, youth, and correspondence ministries. I love to cook, spend time with family, travel, scrapbook, volunteer and write! I am the current author of the nonfiction novel, HUSH. You can find my book at Amazon, everywhere online. My true passion is Christ and teaching. I'm an 11th grade English teacher. I feel in order to know one must be taught, in order to be taught one must learn, in order to learn one must know. Above all God has given me everything. He is wonderful!!!!!!
